Babysitter

Last week Wednesday and Thursday you went to the babysitter for the very first time. When I dropped you off in the morning I literally felt sick to my stomach. But you didn't cry at all as I left. I worried about how you were doing all day long and couldn't get back to you fast enough! When I arrived you were sitting in a booster seat at the kitchen table, munching on crackers with your three little buddies. As soon as you saw me though, you wanted to be out and in my arms! That's ok, that's exactly what I wanted too.

Diana told me you were an ANGEL. She said the only time you cried was a bit at naptime, and she put you down FULLY AWAKE. I couldn't believe it! I was sure it was a fluke, but the second day she actually said that her and her husband were thinking that they should be paying US to watch you!! She took you to the play center and she said you absolutely loved it and had the best time. Naptime was great once again, and she was so impressed by your eating skills and table manners.

I'm so relieved you seem to like it and that you are so well-behaved. I like to think that you are so well-adjusted because I worked so hard at making sure all your needs were met. I think all of this co-sleeping and 24/7 cuddling has turned you into a confident and independent little boy, and I'm so proud of you! XOXOXO
