Well, sort of. Close enough for this proud mama! Yesterday, at 5 months and 1 day, while traipsing around Walmart, I noticed Max silently opening and closing his mouth, not unlike a fish out of water trying to breathe. A few minutes later he started making accompanying noises that sounded like 'mamamamama'. He's been doing it NON-STOP ever since, especially when he's whining. But you know what? It makes whiny babies a whole lot more fun when they're calling your name ;). Anyway, here's the proof:

Dear Max
I promise I will always love you, protect you, and do everything in my power to make you happy. I pray you will grow to be a curious, kind, independent, resiliant, loving, courageous and quick-witted person. Daddy and I will teach you how to dance (so you can impress the girls!), cook (ditto!), sing, draw, speak Spanish and French, and to balance chemical equations.
