I promise I will always love you, protect you, and do everything in my power to make you happy. I pray you will grow to be a curious, kind, independent, resiliant, loving, courageous and quick-witted person. Daddy and I will teach you how to dance (so you can impress the girls!), cook (ditto!), sing, draw, speak Spanish and French, and to balance chemical equations. I promise to support you in your decisions, and to encourage you to follow your own path. Most of all, I promise to be there, just be there, when you need me. Te amo, chiquitito!
