This week's I Heart Faces photo challenge theme is 'sun flare'. Well, I have no photos of Max + The Sun since he was born in November :(, but I immediately thought of the engagement photos I did for my sister Nikki and her fiance Wayne. We had just gotten our Nikon D5000, and I wanted to see what I could do. I love this photo. The sunlight backlighting them was amazing, it looks like Nikki has a halo! If you look closely you can even see bits of pollen floating in the sunbeams. I also love love LOVE the looks on their faces. This photo to me is the epitome of love, joy, summer.
